Erich is a true Jackson Hole local, having moved to Jackson Hole in high school in the 70’s when his family moved to Jackson and his father managed the National Elk Refuge. Growing up in the Tetons, he took full advantage of the outdoors, becoming a world-class Nordic skier as well as a fanatic fly-fisherman, hunter. Erich was on the 1992 Winter Olympic Biathlon team (cross-country skiing and rifle marksmanship) and skied for the US Biathlon team and the Dartmouth Nordic team for over a decade. Erich is a charter inductee into the Jackson Hole Ski Clubs Hall of Fame in honor of his commitment to the sport of skiing. He holds a biology degree from Dartmouth College. He is community minded and has donated his time and talents on boards including the US Biathlon Association, Friends of Pathways, and the Jackson Hole Ski Club. In his spare time Erich spends time with his wife Chris, and two sons Riis and Max. Erich shares his passion for adventure with his clients and enjoys guiding people to his favorite back-country ski run or a secret fishing hole. He is still rumored to win a race or two despite his age.
Year over year Erich ranks in the Top Producer Club and stands alone in his approach of providing exceptional service and results by listening to and spending time with his clients. Along with his friendly and down-to-earth nature, his competitive side has helped him consistently become a top selling broker in the business for the past 25 years. He and his wife Chris combine their individual strengths to work together as a team to provide exceptional service.
